Bus topology connects computers to each other in chain with the intermediary of a cable which is usually a single type of coaxialcable (coaxial). All Nodes are connected in series using a cable .Bus topology generally do not use an active device to connect computers. Therefore, the ends of coaxial cable should be covered with prisoners in order to avoid reflections that can cause interference that causes network congestion.
The benefit of using a bus topology:
a. Save cables and cheaper, as prices are cheaper cables used and the network hub is not required.b. Simple wiring layouts
c. If one dies then the computer will not disturb the other computer.
d. Easy to develop.
Disadvantages of using a bus topology, namely:
a. Fault detection and isolation of very small
b. Density of traffic collisions, so often the case file data is sent.
c. When one client is damaged or broken then the cable network is not functioning.
